Advantages of using asphalt

We are often asked by our clients the advantages of using asphalt. One of the primary advantages of asphalt is the longevity.   Properly maintained, asphalt can last over 25 years.  Due to the durability and lifespan, Asphalt is a great choice for residential customers for a driveway and commercial customers for parking lots.

Another advantage of asphalt is the minimum impact on the environment.  Additionally, asphalt pavement requires very little consumption of energy for production, and emits few greenhouse gases.  Also asphalt is one of the most recycled products in the country. In fact, out of more than 100 million tons that is used each year to rebuild roads, 95% is derived from recycled asphalt. Additionally, other waste products such as oil, asphalt shingles, and concrete can be repurposed into new asphalt pavement.
